Project Overview

Maimonides approached KLI to help their new online portal become the best in the virtual healthcare industry. The COVID pandemic had transformed patients’ expectations for a great online experience with their healthcare resources. The project was done in three phases, and I came on for the final two phases.

Phase 1: Competitive Analysis

  • Conducted user interviews to see how Maimonides compared with three major competitors for both desktop and mobile experiences

  • Discovered latest user needs in regards to the COVID pandemic

Phase 2: Expert Review

  • Compared current portal against Nielsen Norman Group’s 10 Usability Heuristics for User Interface Design

  • Researched compliance with ADA

Phase 3: Design Consultation

  • Presented insights and recommendations

  • Created new site designs to guide the client with recommendations
